Polyvoks: original vs. mini

Mr. Lumbergh: Has anyone played both the original Polyvoks and the Polyvoks Mini? I'd be curious for your opinion of how well the Mini replicates the sound of the original, I've found one for sale but don't have the space for another large synth at the moment but this is another great Kuzmin design I want to add to my collection.

Muztech: Mini doesn't replace original Poly it is something different but with the same VCO, VCF and EG. Some features are added tp replace partly second VCO: PWM and 2 suboctaves. But the character of sound is still the same. I demonstrate it in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPqfa-EStQk

Mr. Lumbergh: Mr. Kuzmin, hello! You answered a couple of my questions about the Maestro on the demo video done my Heinbach, thank you. Regarding the Mini, I'm running out of room between my guitars, amps, keyboards, and workstation and was looking to save some space. It seems that the Mini does get the bass sounds I was looking for, I may just have to order the Mini now and search for an original when I have more space.

Muztech: Hi, regarding Polivoks, it can stand vertically on one of its sides for saving space especially when used with midi when there is no need in keyboard. )))
